Day 1

Today your journey through Sweden begins with a comfortable train ride towards the vibrant city of Malmö. Along the way, the landscapes of Germany and Denmark gently pass by. In the early evening, you arrive in Malmö and walk straight into the cosy city centre. Expect colourful streets, modern architecture and inviting cafés. Choose a welcoming restaurant from our city guide and raise a glass to the start of your Swedish adventure!

Day 2

After yesterday’s travel day, today is the perfect time to explore Malmö at a relaxed pace. Start your day slowly or head out straight away. Rent a bike or walk straight into the city from your hotel and discover the charming Gamla Väster district and the lively Lilla Torg square, where cafés and restaurants warmly invite you in. Museum lovers will also be well catered for: from modern art to contemporary exhibitions, there’s plenty to choose from. You’ll also receive a city guide from us, filled with personal tips for the nicest spots in this welcoming city.

Day 3

After a relaxed breakfast at the hotel, you pick up your electric rental car and the next part of your journey begins. It’s time to explore Sweden’s beautiful nature. You travel through the stunning landscapes of southern Sweden and spend the night in a special accommodation surrounded by nature. This stay is tailored to your wishes, ensuring you experience the Swedish outdoors in the best possible way.

Day 4

Today you will stay in the first accommodation chosen for you by us. You might wake up in a luxurious treehouse, a glass house or a stylish B&B on the coast. Enjoy the beautiful Swedish nature. You might go kayaking or enjoy a relaxing sauna.

Day 5

The first two days surrounded by the peace and open spaces of Swedish nature are now behind you. Today, you get back in the car and continue on to your next special destination. For the next two nights, you’ll once again stay in a stylish accommodation set in Swedish nature, tailored to your wishes.

Day 6

This day is all about enjoying and relaxing, for example in your cosy tiny house or in a luxury glamping tent among the trees. From deep forests and mirror-smooth lakes inland to cliffs and idyllic fishing villages along the coast, every part of Sweden has its own charm.

Day 7

After a relaxed breakfast, you get back in the car and drive on to your final destination. Leaving the rugged nature behind, today you head towards Gothenburg, Sweden’s second-largest city. The rest of the day is yours to explore Gothenburg. Discover the Haga district and enjoy some fresh seafood at the Saluhallen. In the early evening, you board the ferry bound for Kiel, Germany.

Day 8

You wake up on board the ferry, just in time to watch the ship enter the harbour of Kiel. After arrival, you make your way to the station at a relaxed pace for the final leg of your journey. On the train, you can sit back and savour all the wonderful memories. What an adventure: Sweden’s vast landscapes, the unique places you stayed, and that unforgettable sense of freedom along the way.

Electrical rental car

The upgrade includes a Volvo C40 SUV (or similar electric car). This rental car includes an additional driver and is fully insured. Think damage and theft insurance, full excess cover, unlimited mileage and increased third-party cover.

Travelling around Scandinavia with an electric car is surprisingly easy. As in the Netherlands, there are plenty of charging stations to be found, often just at petrol stations or at the accommodations where you stay. Going on an adventure in a national park? Then chances are there are several charging points available at the entrance. Moreover, you can easily use apps such as Chargemap and Plugshare. With these, you can find a charging point near you in just a few taps. Most accommodation allows you to charge your rental car. Always check in advance in your travel documents whether this is possible at your accommodation.
