After seeing some beautiful images on Instagram, I contacted you in August. Willemijn took the time to organise a fun trip for our family (including three children aged 13, 15 and 17). We ended up spending two days in Gothenburg and two days in a spacious forest house. It was a great combination, with only an hour and a half's drive between the two locations.

We spent our time in Gothenburg shopping, eating (using many tips from the city guide) and walking a lot (but also using electric scooters), and we spent our time at the forest house chilling, building a fire, cooking, walking, relaxing in the hot tub and sauna. Exactly what we wanted, in other words, Willemijn listened carefully to our wishes and responded to them. Thank you for that! Sweden has left us wanting more, and perhaps we'll return for the summer holidays. Who knows 😉. 

Overall, a very good experience. Communication was very pleasant and our requests to extend the holiday and visit an additional location were arranged immediately.

The arrangement with breakfast provided and the other meals left open is ideal, offering a good balance between freedom and convenience. 

The locations were superb and, in our opinion, this is where travel.se really makes the difference, as we could never have found such good locations ourselves. 

Travelling from location to location was very easy and the tips in the guides were very good and provided us with a lot of inspiration.

We also enjoyed West Sweden itself, with its very relaxed vibe, low-stimulus environment in a good way, top-quality food and drink, nice people and beautiful nature.

Where to start ;) We had a really great holiday! Beautiful country, lots to do, friendly people, beautiful nature, what more could you want? We may have lost our hearts to Sweden a little bit :) and would love to go back! 

The contact with Travel.se beforehand was quick, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, so top notch! When we were in Sweden, we heard rumours that storm Floris was heading our way, and we received a polite email from you about it. 

The variety (hotel/glamping/hotel) and the locations were great. The tips on what to do in the area were also very useful. All locations were child-friendly and the activities we booked were fun. The distances between the different locations were just right. Not too long in the car, but just long enough to end up in another part of Sweden. 

The glamping site itself was beautiful, and the tent was also nice. We just missed having a playground (there isn't much to do in bad weather). We really enjoyed the workshop at Pien's (and luckily she had enough patience with our busy kids ;)).

After searching online for cool places to stay in Sweden, without really finding anything, I sent an email to Travel.SE. It was actually a kind of cry for help because I had a vision of a holiday in Sweden (forests, water, fire, canoes, cottages by the water, etc.) but couldn't find anything that really excited us. We were very late and it was high season, which didn't help either. Then travel.se really helped us out. Our request was for 7 nights at 2 or 3 cool locations. And they found them for us within a few hours. We immediately accepted the itinerary they had put together and it was fantastic. Locations you wouldn't normally visit, or at least not quickly, and exactly as we had requested. They listened carefully and offered exactly what we were looking for. Really great and a bit of a lifesaver!

Actually, almost everything was perfect: the accommodations themselves, the diversity of the accommodations, the information provided in advance, the tips for activities, restaurants, etc., the communication with you, the time and effort we had to put in ourselves (very minimal), the convenience of everything being well organised and us only having to check in. Exactly what we were looking for this year!

We thoroughly enjoyed the trip with our two daughters! The locations were beautiful and varied. It was great that by booking through you, we knew for sure that the locations would be perfect and that we would visit places we would never have found ourselves. Even our teenage daughter, who said beforehand that she would rather lie by a swimming pool in Italy, had a great time.

We had a wonderful trip, especially considering that we only contacted Travel SE two weeks before departure. Normally, we book ourselves, but this year that would have been difficult due to circumstances. 

It was definitely worth it! Travel SE responded very quickly and, after an initial consultation, Willemijn had a very good idea of the mix of glamping, hotels and special accommodation we were looking for. 

We had a very relaxing holiday because we received travel guides for the cities we visited and the trip was clearly laid out. This saved us a lot of stress and checking things ourselves. 

We have already recommended Travel SE to friends and family, and we will definitely go to Sweden with them again!

The holiday was perfectly tailored to our wishes. The process, with a mini interview and mood board, made it really fun and personal. All the locations and accommodation were absolutely perfect and allowed us to experience the diversity of Sweden without spending hours in the car or travelling long distances.

Everything was perfectly arranged and at locations I would never have found myself! Even though we booked very last minute, the three locations were all enjoyable, very diverse, and perfectly suited to our extensive wish list for small children.

From the initial idea for the trip to our return home, everything was a celebration! We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Sweden thanks to your excellent recommendations and tips!

A wonderful experience that was well worth the money. It's exciting to transfer a large amount of money before you leave, but Travel SE certainly delivered on all our locations! The perfect holiday to enjoy different aspects: Swedish tranquillity, vast nature, great outdoor activities and the big cities at their best. But above all, we remember the amazing accommodations, from a glass house in the middle of the woods to staying at an ecological farm.

Communication with Travel.se was pleasant and clear. The booking process went smoothly and the information provided in advance was clear, allowing me to set off well prepared.

The accommodations were all unique and charming. The cottage in the forest, for example — perched on a cliff, with a view of nothing but trees — was magical. The hotel with wellness facilities was also immaculate. I liked that there was a lot of variety in the places I stayed: from peace and nature to a little more comfort and luxury.

The distances between the accommodations were manageable. Only the route to the forest cottage required some extra detective work — especially when my navigation system stopped working and I ended up on a gravel path. It was great that Willemijn from Travel.se was available by phone and was able to guide me through the last part.

What I particularly appreciated was the space this trip gave me. Literally and figuratively. Sweden is quiet, spacious and light. It gave me the opportunity to really pause, recharge and get out of my head. Travelling alone can sometimes be uncomfortable, but it has also brought me a lot.

Thank you for the careful planning. I look back on it with fond memories.

We had a wonderful holiday. The route and locations were well tailored to our wishes. We had been thinking about going to Sweden for a while, but hadn't taken enough time to really look into it. We often find the research process stressful and irritating, which is why we turned to Travel.se. During the intake interview, we were given plenty of opportunity to express our wishes, and they listened carefully: not too long distances, spacious accommodation (separate rooms for the children) and plenty of activities to do in the area. The contact with travel.se was excellent; they really listened to our wishes! The trip was fantastic, and it was nice to visit places you might not think of yourself. The accommodations were also top notch. Unfortunately, there was a mistake with the gluten-free food at one of the accommodations, but that was of course beyond the responsibility of travel.se.

The region was beautiful – especially if you love peace and nature. All in all, we had a wonderful trip and would definitely use travel.se again if we go back to Sweden!

A wonderful trip, exactly what we were looking for to truly get away for a week. It was our first time in Sweden, and the country exceeded our expectations. The trip was put together with great care. Communication was very pleasant, and all the information we needed had already been shared in advance.

We started on the west coast, with the oyster tour as the absolute highlight, and then spent a few days in Gothenburg; a lovely city with great style and lots of good restaurants. The cabin in the woods just outside the city was magical. Peace and quiet in the heart of nature: the perfect ending. Thanks a lot!

The contact with Travel.se was super smooth :) The communication beforehand about one of the kids’ nut allergy, which was known at every accommodation upon arrival, the travel guides, all very well arranged!

The holiday was fantastic!!! All the accommodations and booked activities were so much fun and truly added something special to the trip.
I would never have looked for, let alone booked, a ceramics workshop myself, but that variety really brought a nice dynamic to the days. The highlight of the holiday for us was Trakt Hotel. The surroundings, the treehouse, the hospitality and the activities were all amazing.

It was a truly wonderful holiday with stunning locations! What an amazing country, unlike the Netherlands, it feels like one vast forest, with the occasional person living in a charming red wooden cottage, complete with a little field, a cow, and some chickens. It really makes you reflect on what the Netherlands must have felt like before the industrialization of rural life. The treehouse was an absolute dream, especially with the hot tub right in the middle of the forest!

It was all so well arranged, and we truly felt pampered. The husky tour was special to have done at least once. Beautiful to see the landscape from this perspective. Ice fishing was also fun to do. Especially because, while skating, you see many Swedes doing it, it really felt like a true Swedish experience.

The skating itself was actually indescribable. If you love skating on natural ice, then skating on open lakes is the most beautiful thing you can do.The guides had the most beautiful tours and spots to show us. Besides being very pleasant company, I had complete trust in them. I didn’t feel unsafe on the ice for a single moment.
